mount  web dav volumnes, there are three alternatives

===== mount.davfs: =====
via fstab
http://webdavlink.example.com /mnt/webdav  davfs  noauto,user  0  0
and then
[sudo] mount /mnt/webdav
then ldap login and password

===== fusedav: =====
[sudo] fusedav http://webdavlink.example.com  /mnt/webdav &
fusedav will ask login and passwork only when some one go into the webdav volume [cd /mnt/webdav], the volume is mounted unless fusedav is killed

===== cadaver: ftp like client =====
cadaver  http://webdavlink.example.com
login 
passwd
ftp like commands
